Project Overview

Vertical: Workplace

Application: Workstation, private office

Product(s): Custom 6mm low-iron boards

Value: $1.5M

Location: Bay Area, California

Completion Date: July 2025

Dealer: One Workplace

Unique Features: Custom mounting—VHB tape with a low VOC primer that could be installed on site without space to flat lay or brace the glass in place for curing.

An influential tech company asked Clarus to integrate sleek, writable glass directly onto gallery-veneer panel workstations with near-to-no gaps, for a flawless, clean look.
But there was one challenge. The existing furniture system didn't accommodate a standard Clarus mounting solution. Rather than compromise the design, Clarus engineered a custom approach, using high-performance VHB tape and temporary pressure bracing to achieve a seamless install.
Because the glass bonded permanently on contact, every panel had to be sized and placed with absolute precision. With no room for adjustment, more than 1,500 glass boards were meticulously installed by hand.
BEFORE
AFTER
By upgrading their existing furniture rather than replacing it, the company achieved significant cost savings while dramatically elevating the space. Crisp white glass now adorns each workstation, creating a polished, high-end office that reflects the brand's design standards and supports daily brainstorming, note-taking, and collaboration.
To ensure consistency and quality, a Clarus representative was on site throughout the process—overseeing installation, answering questions, and resolving details in real time. The result was a smooth execution and a flawlessly finished workspace.
