The Next Chapter – Clarus™ Comes to London
Since the founding of Clarus in 2009, we’ve witnessed a mass exodus from traditional, enameled steel whiteboards in the commercial interior, and the adoption of high-quality glassboards. With this change, we’ve witnessed a dynamic shift in the role writable glass solutions now play in not just the workplace but higher education, healthcare, and beyond.
This movement, which principally coincides with workplace modernization and the rise of agile working, extends far beyond the confines of North America and therefore, so must Clarus.
Having been wowed by the design community’s overwhelming response to Clarus at events like Orgatec and Clerkenwell Design Week, we quickly realized that London was the setting where we wanted the next chapter of our Clarus story to unfold.
As we grow our London office team, we also have the added support of a pioneering team of US-based Clarus employees who have opted to get up at 3 AM every day in Dallas and work the hours of the UK working week. This allows us to offer the entire European market on-the-minute support.
Our most recent addition to the Clarus UK Team is Nick Laughton, who has spent 7 years at Vitra as Head of Design, Marketing & Showroom Services. After Vitra, Nick spent a year and a half at Echelon as Design Director. That experience makes Nick an obvious choice as our Sales Director for the UK and Europe.
Nick’s extensive background in design combined with his sales experience and understanding of the UK market, (not to mention his charming accent) offered Clarus the perfect blend of experience to serve the design capital of Europe. And so, we are delighted to welcome Nick to the Clarus family as we begin our international era.
And don’t worry; our best-in-class lead times will continue to lead the pack as we service the European market. We’re still committed to the same leads times whether you’re buying Clarus in New York City, London, Estonia, or anywhere in between.
