The Best Marker To Use On Your Glassboard
Whether you’re researching our products or just finished mounting your new Clarus™ glassboard, there’s one question that will inevitably come to your mind: “Which marker do I use?”. This may seem like a simple question, but once you take a walk down the marker aisle at your local office supply store, you might be surprised by the amount of choices you have in front of you. In order to help out in your search for the best marker, the Clarus team has put together a list of our favorite markers to use.
Marker #1: Expo Bold Color Dry-Erase Marker – Everywhere you see a whiteboard, an Expo marker is not far out of reach (and for good reason!). This classic whiteboard marker works great on our glassboards as well! It goes on clean and comes off even cleaner. You’ll have no issue reading words written with this bold marker.
Marker #2: Quartet Liquid Paint Marker – Available in a wide variety of neon and standard colors, these markers deliver a nice, smooth and consistent color on our glassboards. If you’re looking to step up your style (with your glassboard, not your clothes — we can’t help you there, sorry), these markers are for you.
Marker #3: Liquid Chalk Marker – Feeling nostalgic but don’t want to deal with the mess of a chalkboard? Try a liquid chalk marker! They go on as smooth as normal dry-erase markers, but, once they dry, they come off like chalk. All the good memories of chalk without the mess! These markers come in an impressive amount of neon and standard colors available for all your projects.
Marker #4: Permanent Marker – “Wait, what? I can use a permanent marker on your glassboards?” That’s right. “But, it’s permanent!” All of our products are completely resistant to the permanent marker’s evil powers. Just grab some glass cleaner and a paper towel and wipe away! “Are you sure it’ll come off? You’re not joking?” Promise. Go crazy.
These are some of our favorite markers here at Clarus, but it all comes down to personal preference. If you’re looking for a time-tested product, go with an Expo. If you want to make a visually stimulating presentation with lots of colors, we recommend the liquid paint or liquid chalk markers. If you’re looking for a bold marker for lots of small, precise writing, a permanent marker would be your best bet. No matter which marker you choose from this list, your Clarus glassboard will look brand new no matter how many times you try to draw a star with no lines in the middle (seriously, try it).
